Elaichi or cardamom is a spice made from the seeds of several plants of the family Zingiberaceae. The spice is native to India, Bhutan, Nepal and Indonesia. The powdered form of an Elaichi is known as ‘Elaichi Powder’. It is the third most expensive spice in India and is also referred as the ‘Queen of spices’. Elaichi is used in many dishes and is used a flavouring ingredient in various savoury dishes. There are two types of cardamom: Green cardamom and black cardamom that is crushed to powdered form.
Advantages Of Cardamom:- Elaichi is rich in dietary fiber that stimulates your metabolism and maintains a healthy digestive system. It is known to regulate the secretion of bile acid in the stomach.
